Hello everybody. These are some useful tips for your writing. Third task part B in the webquest.
TIPS FOR WRITING
1. Brainstorming. It
means you think on different aspects to consider in your paper, for example: The different majors you could study.
2.
Write
an
outline. You need to organize your
ideas taking into consideration that each paragraph develops just an idea. Then,
in your paper you must have three ideas (The
core of the paper). But you also include the Introduction (You do not write the word introduction in
your final paper), as well as the conclusion (You do not write this word in your final paper either)
3.
Parts
for writing:
3.1 Introduction. It is
the first paragraph and it must have these three parts:
3.1.1 The
engaging sentence. It is a short sentence that pretends to catch the reader’s
attention.
3.1.2 The
announcement of the writing plan and content.
3.1.3 The
deep on question or statement that fosters the reader’s curiosity about the
topic.
3.2 The core of the paper. It is
the most important part of your paper and contains three paragraphs in your
case.
3.2.1 Different facts you consider for
choosing a major to develop.
3.2.2 Causes and consequences
that lead to benefits or damages in your choice.
3.2.3 Your dreamed life and how
your choice will help you to get it.
EACH
PARAGRAPH HAS TO GO DEEP ON JUST AN IDEA.
3.3 Conclusion. It is
the last paragraph and it must have these two parts:
3.3.1 A short summary (Usually preceded by a connector
of conclusion such as: To conclude, in summary, as we have seen….and so on)
3.3.2 The last statement or question. It is a short
sentence to provide the reader more elements to research about the topic.
